During the last few days we have been informed by several of our suppliers that they have received e-mails, allegedly issued by B.I.G.’s Procurement Department, asking for a quotation. These e-mails were written in French and English.
Further investigation revealed that the name of one of our employees was misused to sign emails sent by a misleading “beaulieugroup.be” extension e-mail address.
We like to emphasize that the “beaulieugroup.be” extension is not one
of our domain names.
Email addresses of Beaulieu International Group contain
the domain name @bintg.com.
As soon as the impersonation attempt was reported, we filed a complaint
with the police.
Nevertheless, Beaulieu International Group regrets that our relations may have been exposed to an attempted impersonation e-mail from an employee, and we offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
We continue our efforts to create optimal cyber security for
our employees and stakeholders.
